Job Description

Job Overview:

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure as code using AWS CDK. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in automating and managing scalable cloud environments using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, GitHub, and CDK, and will be responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and high-performing infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage secure, scalable, and reliable AWS infrastructure using AWS CDK.

  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using AWS CDK, Ansible, and Jenkins.

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for both infrastructure and application deployments.

  • Configure and manage AWS services including but not limited to EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, CloudWatch, Route53, ELB, CloudFront, Transit Gateway, Cognito, etc.

  • Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies, network access control, encryption, and secrets management.

  • Collaborate closely with development teams to integrate infrastructure with application needs.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and reliability.

  • Maintain and evolve Infrastructure as Code (IaC) best practices for consistent and efficient resource management.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps and Infrastructure Engineering.

  • Strong proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPC, and more.

  • Expertise in AWS CDK and other IaC tools.

  • Solid experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.

  • Hands-on experience with Ansible for configuration management.

  • Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

  • Excellent understanding of networking concepts: VPC, Subnets, Routing, NACLs, and Security Groups.

  • Experience with certificate and secrets management in AWS environments.

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile, and collaborative team environment.
