Job Description

Our client, a non-profit organization, is seeking an Intake Coordinator. This is a great opportunity to build a meaningful career where your contributions are truly valued. In this role, you'll follow up with Plan Sponsors and Members to gather completed documentation, answer claims-related questions, and ensure accurate claim setup in line with contract terms and group-specific features.

Opportunity Details:

  • Start date: ASAP
  • 3 month contract to start
  • Hybrid in Winnipeg, MB (2 days onsite)
  • Traning onsite (4-6 weeks)
  • $20.00/hour

Requirements

  • Typing speed of at least 40 words per minute with high accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills to assess health and dental claims.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both [insert languages if applicable].
  • Proven ability to handle high volumes of work efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to providing exceptional support.
  • Consistent attendance and punctuality; dependable and responsible.

 

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in claims adjudication, health benefits administration, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with group health and dental policy contracts is an asset.
  • Experience conducting provider outreach for additional claim information is a plus.
  • Knowledge of adjudication guidelines and related systems/tools.
  • Demonstrated alignment with core values such as integrity, partnership, and community focus.
