Job Description

Altis is recruiting for two permanent, fully remote opportunities with our client - a national membership association - seeking bilingual Membership Specialists to deliver outstanding support and service to its members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to verbal and written member inquiries; triage messages and direct them to the appropriate contacts.
  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Generate reports, resolve data issues, and work with external vendors to ensure data accuracy.
  • Use standardized scripts to deliver clear, consistent messaging related to membership, benefits, insurance, and events.
  • Confidently discuss and respond to questions about member services and offerings.
  • Support cross-functional projects including student outreach, campaigns, and other organizational initiatives.
  • Provide administrative support including mail distribution, phone system management, and occasional minute-taking.
  • Assist with research activities by compiling data and statistics as needed.
  • Participate in training office staff on procedures and software use.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of administrative, client services or customer service experience.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit, membership, or similar organization a plus.
  • Fluently bilingual in English and French.
  • Experience with CRM/account management tools.
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written skills.
  • Clear communicator, skilled in de-escalation and member engagement.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Strong commitment to exceptional member service with a proactive, helpful attitude.
