Job Description
Our client, a leading organization involved in a major infrastructure expansion project, is seeking a dynamic Realty & Legal Liaison to join their Capital Projects Group. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a significant project that will shape the future of urban transit.
This is a contract role until October 2025 and requires 2 days per week on site downtown.
Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret legal agreements and technical documents
- Support the team by preparing briefing notes and gathering key information
- Assist acquisition and negotiation teams with land administration tasks
- Help organize requests and detailed work plans
- Draft letters and prepare mail merges for communication purposes
- Manage multiple contracts with different delivery timelines
- Monitor, verify, and track important documents throughout the project
- Keep internal company systems up to date with accurate information
- Review land and real estate documents to ensure they meet project requirements
- Work closely with different departments such as Communications, Real Estate, and Legal to manage document workflows
Qualifications:
- Ideally 5+ years of experience in a legal/paralegal/document management/administration role in land acquisition, urban planning, real estate, or asset management is highly preferred.
- Experience with GIS systems and applications is a significant asset.
- Proven ability to multi-task and efficiently process large volumes of data.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
