Our client, a trusted regulatory organization in the healthcare sector, is seeking a full-time HR Administrator based in Toronto.
This six-month contract is an excellent opportunity for a motivated administrative professional to contribute meaningfully across core HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver end-to-end recruitment support, including job postings, interview coordination, preliminary interviews, reference checks, and preparing offer letters.
- Lead onboarding activities and facilitate engaging Day One orientations.
- Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries from employees and candidates, providing guidance or escalation as needed.
- Maintain and update employee data in the Human Capital Management (HCM) system, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare documentation for new hires, internal role changes, and terminations.
- Coordinate benefits and pension plan administration, ensuring accurate enrollment and data updates.
- Maintain employee files and ensure all documentation complies with records management standards.
- Support performance management, training sessions, wellness initiatives, and other employee engagement programs.
- Contribute to the development and updating of HR policies, procedures, and intranet content.
- Provide administrative support for meetings, HR initiatives, and events, including coordinating the HR calendar.
- Assist with compensation surveys by collecting and organizing comparative data.
- Carry out additional administrative duties, as required.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of senior-level administration experience, preferably within a human resources environment.
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g., HR, Business Administration, or related discipline).
- Experience managing recruitment processes, with a solid grasp of best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building trust and collaborating effectively across teams.
- Highly proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced environments.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with HRIS/HCM platforms a strong asset.
