Job Description
Our federal government client is requesting a Senior Evaluation Consultant to complete an Evaluation of a Research Funds.Tasks:
- Work Planning: Review key program documentation (10-15 documents) including previous evaluations and studies related to the funding opportunities, performance measurement frameworks, program documentation, and preliminary/supporting documentation for the evaluation design report.
- Environmental scan of programs outside Canada: Conduct an environmental scan of a maximum of 10 funding programs with objectives similar in five other countries.
- Survey questionnaire to grantee institutions: survey of representatives at grantee institutions will be developed and fielded by the consultant.
- Informant interviews with grantee institution representatives
- Technical reporting is covered under the respective components above
Experience and Qualifications:
- University Degree
- Active Reliability clearance
- 10 years of experience with program evaluations
- Consultant must have completed at least three (3) evaluation projects in the past five (5) years for a provincial government department or organization; a Government of Canada department, agency, or Crown Corporation; or for a government-funded organization.
