Job Description

Our client has been a leader in creating high-quality exercise equipment for over 30 years, serving fitness and healthcare professionals worldwide. They are currently looking for a Financial Reporting Manager for a 9-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

This is a hybrid role, requiring 2 days on-site. The ideal candidate will have advanced financial reporting skills, experience with multicurrency transactions, and expertise in consolidation.

Key Duties:

External Financial Reporting & Audit Assistance
    • Oversee the external financial reporting obligations, including:
      • Monthly shareholder reports, quarterly lender reports, preparation of quarterly board meeting materials and presentations, addressing ad-hoc reporting requests
    • Provide support for the annual audit process 
Month-End Close Assistance
    • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely completion of the month-end close process.
    • Prepare and deliver financial reports and analysis to senior leadership, emphasizing key trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement. This includes preparing internal financial reports and engaging with leadership to clarify results and address inquiries.
    • Offer insights for strategic decision-making, focusing on potential cost reductions and process enhancements.
    • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Ad-Hoc Analysis & Ongoing Process Improvement
    • Conduct ad-hoc financial analyses to support various business projects.
    • Drive continuous improvements in financial forecasting and reporting, identifying opportunities for automation or enhanced efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • CPA, CA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial reporting and related roles within manufacturing, services, or international businesses.
  • Strong experience in forecasting, profitability analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Experience in an international business environment and working with globally sourced products and parts is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), with the ability to create complex models, perform analysis, and generate reports.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence reporting tools (Sage BI or Microsoft BI or similar)
  • Experience with ERP systems (Sage 300 & Microsoft Enterprise) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial forecasting tools & MRP tools
