Job Description

Our client in the Non Profit Space is hiring a Bilingual Events Coordinator to join their team for a 15-month term. The Events Coordinator will support the delivery of virtual learning sessions, focusing on event facilitation and ensuring smooth coordination. The role involves pre-session planning, technical support during events, and post-session follow-up. The Producer will collaborate with internal teams, manage virtual event logistics, and contribute to continuous process improvements. They will also help maintain communication with stakeholders and represent the orginzation during events.

This position is a 15-month, full-time term position. Benefits include paid time off, health/dental coverage. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate virtual events, including setup, managing online chats, polling, breakout rooms, and technical support.
  • Coordinate event logistics, including registration, rehearsals, and event scripts.
  • Maintain clear communication with participants and team members.
  • Contribute to developing new processes and ensuring consistency with compnany policies.
  • Comfortable working on camera and leading virtual sessions.

Qualifications:

  • 3-year college diploma or university degree.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in event coordination, with 2 years focused on virtual event production.
  • Experience with online platforms like Zoom, technical support, and troubleshooting.
  • Project management or healthcare industry experience is an asset.
  • Bilingual (English and French) is required.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and facilitation skills.
  • Self-motivated, with problem-solving ability and strong attention to detail.
