Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking the service of a Business Analyst to provide business analysis and project management support for an IT Project. The Business Analyst will serve as the conduit between the business community (internal and external clients) and the software development team through which requirements flow.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supporting a quality review and documenting the business requirements, identifying gaps in business requirements and provide recommendations to the Project Authority,
- Identifying opportunities for organizational improvement,
- Supporting the elicitation of requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task, and workflow analysis,
Qualifications and Skills
- 5+ years of recent, relevant experience
- 4+ projects working on an IM/IT transformation within a government environment
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt level or higher certification
- Certification in Business Analysis
Education
- a post secondary degree or diploma is required
