Job Description
Contract term: 6-month contract with potential 2.5 years extension.
Work hours: 37.5 hours per week
Work model: Hybrid (required 8 days on-site per month in Ottawa)
Consultant must have the ability to obtain: Reliability Status
The Consultant will be responsible for providing the following Services to the client:
Under the direction of the Director, Supervision Portfolio:
- Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria in consultation with business partners to align to their objectives
- Test software features against acceptance criteria and document results
- Support user acceptance testing and end-user training
- Plan and document activities for key milestones and track progress against plan
- Support the development and reporting of performance metrics
- Other related activities and deliverables, as required
Required Qualifications & Skills
The Consultant should have the following qualifications and skills:
- University degree or college diploma in computer science or a related field
- A minimum of five (5) years of recent demonstrated work experience in business analysis or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in documenting business requirements (functional and non-functional)
- Demonstrated experience with strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Additional Qualifications
The following will also be considered:
- Demonstrated ability to organize effectively
- Demonstrated experience with process improvement skills
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure Services and Dynamics 365 CRM
- Demonstrated communication and relationship management skills across multiple levels of partners
