Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our client's Business Delivery Services team. This role will provide business systems support, assist with system enhancements, and support production activities for financial applications. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in business analysis, Agile methodologies, and data management applications to drive efficiency and innovation in a fast-paced financial environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide business systems support and expertise in business support areas.

• Analyze, develop, and deploy enhancements for business systems as requested by end users.

• Assist in coordinating production support activities for financial applications.

• Support QA efforts, including unit testing and production deployment.

• Apply best practices of Agile methodology within the development team as required.

• Participate in Tier 2 application support, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with technical teams.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

• Perform other related tasks and deliverables as required.

Qualifications & Skills

• University Degree or College Diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum 15 years as a Business Analyst across various organizations.

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with data management applications.

• Minimum 5 years of experience providing production support to end-users.

• Proven expertise in backlog grooming and prioritization.

• Hands-on experience in application development and systems integration as a Business Analyst.

• Ability to gather and analyze data across multiple platforms to drive informed decision-making.

• Experience working with external vendors providing Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) tools

• Strong knowledge of structured analysis techniques and development tools for business processes, automated systems, and workflow analysis.

• Experience working in a financial market environment.

• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)

• Certification in Business Analysis (CCBA)

• Other relevant professional designations

• Hands-on experience with S&P Global Market Intelligence Enterprise Data Management (formerly Markit EDM).
• French language proficiency is an asset.
