About the Role:
Our client is seeking a Workday Finance Developer with expertise in building and deploying integrations within Workday Finance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of Workday tools, integration frameworks, and relational databases, along with hands-on experience implementing finance solutions across various modules.

Location: Toronto (Hybrid work with 2 days per week on-site)

Salary: $90,000 – 100,000 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy Workday integrations for Finance applications.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
• Utilize Workday Integration tools (Studio, Report Writer, Web Services) to support business processes.
• Develop and optimize XML, XSLT, and REST/SOAP web services in Workday.
• Ensure seamless data exchange between Workday and external systems.
• Provide technical leadership, troubleshoot integration issues, and recommend best practices.
• Support multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Workday financial reporting capabilities.
• Assist with full lifecycle Workday Finance implementations and upgrades.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years of IT experience, preferably in finance applications.
• 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Workday Finance integrations.
• Strong proficiency in Workday Reports, Studio, and Security Frameworks.
• Expertise in relational databases and software methodologies (5+ years).
• Deep understanding of finance processes, including Procurement (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), Record-to-Report (R2R), Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and Revenue Recognition.
• Experience leading requirements gathering for multiple large-scale projects.
• Proven experience implementing at least two full life cycle Workday Finance implementations or other ERP systems.
• Hands-on experience with Workday Financials, including General Ledger and Banking & Settlement.
• Prior consulting experience in ERP implementations is a plus.
