Senior Integrations .NET Developer (Azure)

Location: Ottawa, ON (Hybrid: 2 days a week on-site)
Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 CAD per year
Job Type: Temporary Full-Time with perks and benefits
Duration: Until April 2, 2027, possible extension

Additional Note: Must have or be eligible to obtain Enhanced Reliability Security Clearance.

Position Summary:

We are assisting our non-profit industry client with search for a Senior Integrations Developer.

You will design, build, and maintain integrations between different business systems. You will ensure data flows smoothly, help improve technology solutions, and provide expert guidance on best practices.

Preferred experience: Microsoft's integration technologies, including Logic Apps, Logic App Connectors, Azure API Management, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, and Microsoft Flow/Power Automate.

Major Responsibilities:

• Develop & Maintain System Integrations – Build and manage connections between different software and databases.
• Improve Integration Processes – Assess and enhance integration solutions using the latest cloud technologies.
• Ensure Security & Reliability – Implement secure data exchange methods and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Provide Technical Guidance – Support and mentor team members on integration best practices.
• Monitor & Optimize Performance – Continuously track system performance and make improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in designing and implementing end-to-end integration solutions between disparate systems
• Cloud Integration & Azure Expertise – Experience with Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Functions, Service Bus, and Data Factory.
• API Development & Data Transformation – Proficiency in RESTful/SOAP APIs and handling data formats (XML, JSON, CSV, EDI).
• ETL & Data Sync – Strong experience with SSIS or similar ETL tools for automated data processing.
• Database & SQL – Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle, including query optimization.
• Diploma or certificate in Software Development, Computer Programming, or a related field.

• Azure Certifications – Particularly in integration services.
• Experience with ERP or CRM Integrations – Knowledge of integrating APIs with external enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns – Understanding of design patterns for system connectivity.
• BizTalk Server Knowledge – Experience with Microsoft BizTalk for integration solutions.
• Power Automate / Microsoft Flow – Experience automating workflows using Microsoft’s low-code tools.
• Advanced Security Knowledge – Expertise in authentication, authorization, and data encryption in integrations.
