Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to to provide expertise in Cyber Security Operations services in support of a high-priority initiative, providing protection for data, endpoints and IT services. This is a HYBRID 46 week contract.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Coordinates specifications for integration with cyber security systems and processes.
- Serves as a liaison between clients, cyber security teams, and external partners and service providers.
- Provides cyber security training expertise and direction to project stakeholders.
- Emulates or reproduces technical cyber security issues related to the initiative.
- Recommends and implements complex security requirements related to cyber incident management.
- Designs, configures and deploys complex and integrated IT security systems and solutions.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical threats to, and vulnerabilities of, IT systems.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous Experience with Federal Government clients with international impact
- GIAC Certification
- Experience with the following tasks:
- Recommends and implements complex security requirements related to cyber incident management.
- Designs, configures and deploys complex and integrated IT security systems and solutions.
- Identifies, researches, and resolves technical threats to, and vulnerabilities of, IT systems.
- Documents findings and communicating to stakeholders.

A relevant degree, diploma, or certification is required
