Job Description

Our valued Federal Government client is currently seeking a Cyber Security Consultant to to provide expertise in Cyber Security Operations services in support of a high-priority initiative, providing protection for data, endpoints and IT services.  This is a HYBRID 46 week contract.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Coordinates specifications for integration with cyber security systems and processes. 
  • Serves as a liaison between clients, cyber security teams, and external partners and service providers.
  • Provides cyber security training expertise and direction to project stakeholders.
  • Emulates or reproduces technical cyber security issues related to the initiative.
  • Recommends and implements complex security requirements related to cyber incident management.
  • Designs, configures and deploys complex and integrated IT security systems and solutions.
  • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical threats to, and vulnerabilities of, IT systems.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Previous Experience with Federal Government clients with international impact
  • GIAC Certification
  • Experience with the following tasks:
    • Recommends and implements complex security requirements related to cyber incident management.
    • Designs, configures and deploys complex and integrated IT security systems and solutions.
    • Identifies, researches, and resolves technical threats to, and vulnerabilities of, IT systems.
    • Documents findings and communicating to stakeholders.

Education

A relevant degree, diploma, or certification is required
