Our client, a non-profit organization in the Healthcare/Research space, is seeking an Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days a week on-site Downtown Toronto. This will be a contract for 11 weeks to start, with the potential to extend. The role offers the chance to join a friendly team!
Roles and Responsibilities
-Scheduling and calendar management
-Stakeholder communication
-Prepare documentation, reports, and presentations as needed
-Meeting coordination
-Expense management
-Project support
-Event coordination
-Minute taking
-Assist with proposal preparation
-Assist with HR support including onboarding and training new administrative team members
-Other related administrative tasks as required
Qualifications and Skills
-Must have complete a post-secondary Degree or Diploma
-Must have a minimum of three years of administrative support experience
-Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
-Must have the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a busy, deadline-driven environment
-Must be proficient in MS Office
-Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
-Experience working in a Non-Profit/Association or Healthcare space is a strong asset
-Must be able to work well both independently and in a team
