Job Opportunity: System Administrators 

Location: Onsite in Kingston, ON
Duration: Contract award – March 2026 (with four 1-year optional periods)
Security Clearance: Secret Clearance Required

Altis Technology is seeking System Administrators for a contract opportunity with one of our Federal Government Clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, including:
  • VMWare 7.x/8.x, Microsoft Server 2019/2022, SCCM, Veeam Backup, and Active Directory
  • Microsoft SharePoint Enterprise & Windows OS (10/11)
• Manage datacenter hardware, software-defined networking, and security policies
• Provide documentation, training, and technical guidance
• Monitor network traffic and optimize performance

Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience as a System Administrator
• 2+ years of recent experience managing enterprise-scale (10+ hosts/100+ servers) data center infrastructure
• Hands-on experience with VMWare vRealize Suite, Microsoft Server products, and VMWare Cloud Foundation
• Strong knowledge of network security, troubleshooting, and automation
