Job Description

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with strong expertise in Red Hat Linux and Solaris environments to join our Public Sector clients team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with UNIX system administration, automation, and hardware support. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer and support Red Hat Linux 7/8/9 environments, leveraging Satellite for system management.
• Manage and maintain Solaris 11 systems with a focus on performance, security, and reliability.
• Automate configuration management tasks using Ansible to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Provide UNIX system administration, including hardware support, scripting, packaging, and operations management (OpsCenter).
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize system and network issues in a proactive manner.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working in a Red Hat Linux 7/8/9 environment.
• At least 3 years of experience managing and supporting Solaris 11 systems.
• Hands-on experience with Ansible Automation for configuration management and task automation.
• Strong UNIX system administration experience with scripting, packaging, and hardware support.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in multi-platform environments.
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Network Automation, and/or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
• Redhat OpenSCAP
