Job Description

We are seeking a Product Owner to lead high-impact initiatives within our organization. This is a unique opportunity to work with a dynamic team of creative thinkers, problem solvers, and application developers who are driving innovation in financial services, open banking, and verification solutions. This is a director level role, hybrid in downtown Toronto.

About the Role

As a Product Owner, you will take end-to-end ownership of key products, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders, manage high-performing squads, and bring a data-driven approach to decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep understanding of Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and manage high-profile products, including P&L accountability.
  • Drive the achievement of OKRs and track progress using key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine business needs and deliver effective solutions.
  • Communicate and translate the product vision and strategy to key stakeholders and leadership.
  • Represent customer needs to ensure they are effectively integrated into the team’s work.
  • Define and refine the minimum viable product (MVP) to validate product-market fit.
  • Optimize Agile workflows and remove impediments to enhance delivery.
  • Foster an innovative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and participate in discussions on emerging best practices.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Product Owner, with a track record of managing large-impact projects.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes and Agile methodologies.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to drive business objectives through data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, conflict resolution, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience defining and communicating business requirements effectively.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and build strong relationships across teams.
  • Intellectual curiosity and a passion for continuous improvement.
