Job Opportunity: Senior Statistical Developer (Part-Time, Remote)

Role Overview:
Altis Technology is seeking a Senior Statistical Developer for a contract opportunity with one of our Federal Government Clients. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical expertise in adaptive cognitive assessment development
• Conduct quality assurance testing (integration, unit, and system testing)
• Develop and refine R-based assessment algorithms
• Ensure compliance with psychometric best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders and prepare technical documentation

Requirements:

• Education: PhD or Master’s in Psychometrics, Quantitative Psychology, or a related field
• Experience:
  • 10+ years in test development & psychometric evaluation
  • Expertise in Computer Adaptive Testing (CAT), Item Response Theory (IRT), test design, item banking, and equating
  • Proficiency in R, Python, or similar statistical programming languages
  • Strong technical documentation and reporting skills
