Job Description
Our federal government client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to support their Branch in developing selection assessment tools specific to the Canadian Armed Forces. This role will oversee project coordination and the implementation of a computer adaptive cognitive assessment aligned with modern testing theories and technologies.
Location: Remote
Contract Duration: Part-Time until March 31, 2026, with two option years
Security Clearance: None required
Language Requirement: English essential
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise between the Technical Authority, internal stakeholders, and technical teams.
- Ensure resources are qualified and identify additional expertise if needed.
- Track milestones, oversee deliverables, and ensure quality assurance.
- Prepare and present monthly progress reports.
- Schedule and lead kick-off and progress meetings.
- Oversee invoicing, billing, and contract amendments.
Requirements
- PhD in Psychology (Psychometrics/Quantitative Psychology) or Education (Measurement, Evaluation, Research Methodology), OR a Master’s degree in one of these fields plus five (5) years of experience in test development or psychometric tool evaluation.
- Minimum 10 years managing teams for test development or psychometric projects.
- Experience developing and evaluating standardized assessments or psychometric tools.
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
