Job Description
We are assisting our healthcare client in the search for an Accounting Assistant to join their team. If you’re detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you. The position is an 11 week contract, and is fully onsite in downtown Toronto.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process credit card payments and resolve disputes.
- Deposit cheques and update bank accounts.
- Prepare month-end and quarterly payments.
- Input data into accounting software.
- Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
- Generate analysis reports and assist with audits.
Qualifications:
- College diploma in Business Administration.
- 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
