Our client in the non profit industry is looking to hire a Senior Business Partner to play a pivotal role in driving financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision-making to support their operational goals and sustainability initiatives.

 

The Senior Finance Business Partner (SFBP) plays a key role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and decision-making within the organization. This position works closely with business leaders to provide financial insights, analysis, and reports that improve financial and operational performance. The SFBP will manage budgeting, forecasting, revenue analysis, cash flow management, and system improvements to enhance organizational efficiency.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Responsible to review and oversee the integration between Salesforce.com and with the accounting system (SAP ByDesign), identify and resolve any discrepancies or inefficiencies to ensure seamless operation between platforms
  • Develop and maintain detailed budget models, financial reports, and variance analysis.
  • Provide financial insights to guide decision-making and support business objectives.
  • Oversee revenue, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare financial statements, reconciliations, and audit materials.
  • Manage integration and system improvements between financial systems (Salesforce, SAP ByDesign).
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide financial guidance for operational planning and new business decisions.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.

Experience:

  • At least six years of experience in finance or accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and preparing financial reports.

Skills:

  • Advanced Proficiency in Excel
  • Proficient with financial systems (Salesforce and SAP ByDesign are considered Must Have), and business analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a dynamic environment.

Certifications:

  • CPA or equivalent professional designation preferred.

This role requires someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively with different teams. Strong financial knowledge and the ability to translate data into meaningful insights are essential for success in this position.
