Job Description
Our client, an environmental organization located in Vaughan is seeking an Instructional Designers for a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. This role requires 3-days onsite.
This is a unique opportunity where the selected candidates will have the autonomy to design and implement projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for developing engaging learning experiences across various platforms to support the growth of the learning and development curriculum.
We are seeking candidates who will be self-motivated, requiring minimal direction, and will collaborate closely with stakeholders while facilitating both virtual and in-person training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop interactive training materials, including e-learning modules, facilitator guides, and assessments.
- Ensure content aligns with instructional design best practices and adult learning principles.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess learning needs and refine training programs.
- Utilize learning technologies and authoring tools to create accessible and inclusive content.
- Facilitate engaging virtual and in-person learning sessions.
- Measure training effectiveness through assessments and feedback, implementing improvements as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design or curriculum development.
- Experience designing leadership development programs required.
- Proficiency in e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, LMS platforms) and content creation.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
