Job Description
Our client is seeking a Bilingual Admissions Manager to join their team full-time onsite. Under the supervision of the Associate Vice Rector, Academic Enrollment Management, the Bilingual Admissions Manager leads and supervises staff while managing key academic operations, including course scheduling, registration, grading, transcripts, and official records for all students. The role also involves liaising with academic units, and other institutions, managing operational calendars, and supporting convocation activities.
Our client offer's a 4-day workweek with a 35-hour work week in total. The goal is to provide you with the option to have a 4-day workweek, giving you the flexibility to enjoy a longer weekend while still maintaining a balanced schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee registration, grading, graduation, transcripts, certifications, and scheduling, ensuring data integrity and efficient processes.
- Liaise with institutions, implementing communication strategies and collaborating on new systems.
- Coordinate course scheduling, ensure compliance with timetabling procedures, and optimize classroom assignments.
- Hire, supervise, and evaluate staff, ensuring team coordination, quality service, and ongoing support.
- Maintain accurate student records, oversee graduation, and assist with convocation activities.
- Ensure accurate academic data reporting for government submission and manage course ratings and corrections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 3+ years of experience in academic administration or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of university programs and academic systems.
- Bilingual (English and French) with strong communication skills.
- Experience managing complex systems and staff in an academic environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and provide excellent customer service.
