Job Description

Our construction client is seeking a permanent Project Coordinator to join their growing team! The ideal candidate will have experience supporting project managers in planning, organizing, and executing projects while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. 

This is an on-site position, located in Ottawa.

Responsibilities: 

  • Assisting with project proposals, budgets, schedules, and contracts (RFPs, tenders, LOIs, POs).
  • Monitoring project progress, budgets, and work quality.
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation, including RFI logs, change notices, and shop drawings.
  • Communicating project updates and field reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Coordinating sub-trades, deliveries, and site documentation to ensure smooth execution.
  • Supporting project closeout by compiling necessary documentation.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and proactively addressing challenges.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of project coordination experience in retail and ICI construction is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, problem-solve, and adapt to new challenges.
  • Proficiency in Procore (preferred) and basic estimating experience (an asset).
  • Valid driver’s license and Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain one).
  • Bilingual (English & French) is an asset.
