Job Description

Our government client is seeking the services of a Senior Organizational Design and Classification Consultant to work with them part-time on Contract over the next five (5) years.

Tasks:

* Performing SWOT analysis
* Analyzing current and future state of organization structures, providing solutions and recommendations
* Reviewing work descriptions, job activities and responsibilities
* Developing and updating current generic and specific work descriptions, assigning responsibilities to each stream
* Providing advice and recommendations on policies, guidelines, procedures and tools
* Preparing and researching classification relativity studies
* Providing strategic input on business functional requirements, policies, decision flows and identifying information
* Identifying re-design of organizational structure, drafting potential solutions, reviewing competing priorities and providing preliminary costing

Qualifications:

* Must have recent experience working in the Federal Government in an Organizational Design and Classification role.
* Must have recent experience working with EX and non-EX work descriptions both generic and specific
* Must have a Diploma or Degree in a related field from a Canadian secondary school institution
* Must have experience working in a unionized environment
* Must be Bilingual
