Our renowned real estate client is seeking a Senior Operations Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will be experienced in building operations, overseeing daily maintenance, tenant services, and system efficiencies.
The individual must excel in customer service, project management, and financial oversight, ensuring operational excellence and sustainability.
This is a permanent full-time position is located in Toronto, ON.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and support the building operations team.
- Manage capital projects from budgeting to completion.
- Oversee preventive maintenance and energy efficiency programs.
- Ensure compliance with sustainability initiatives and emergency management protocols.
- Control expenses and operate within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Handle RFQ/RFP processes and manage large-scale contracts.
Qualifications:
- 10–15 years of progressive building operations experience (Class A).
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- Expertise in tenant relations, problem-solving, and strategic cost-saving.
- Experience with critical systems and emergency response.
- Familiarity with ESG initiatives and sustainability programs.
- Knowledge of fire codes, building regulations, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in Yardi, Angus, Building Engines, and Microsoft Office.
- SMA, FMA, BES, SMT, HVAC technician, or 4th/5th Class Engineer certification preferred.
- RPA designation preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required
