Job Description

Altis Recruitment is seeking experienced professionals to fill administrative and reception roles in the Ottawa, Ontario area. We have immediate openings for short-term contract positions starting as soon as possible.

The ideal candidates will have a strong background in office administration, customer service, and clerical support. You must be available to begin work promptly upon selection.

Location: Ottawa, Ontario

Contract Type: Short-term, Immediate

Job Type: Temporary

Pay Rate: $20-25.00 hourly.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support such as data entry, document preparation, and file management.
  • Assist in scheduling appointments and managing calendars.
  • Respond to inquiries and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate logistics for meetings and events.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Answer and direct phone calls promptly.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
  • Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide information.
  • Process orders, forms, applications, and requests.
  • Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions.
  • Provide general office support including filing, scanning, and copying documents.
  • Assist in organizing office events and meetings.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administrative, reception, customer service, or office support roles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Adaptability and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
  • Team player with a proactive and adaptable approach.
