Job Description

Job Title: Network Engineer Specialist
Duration: 1 year with possibility of 2-year extensions
Location: Hybrid (8 days/month onsite)
Security Requirement: Secret Clearance or Eligible

Tasks:

• Support operational team with focus on evergreening and support
• Resolve complex technical issues promptly
• Participate in testing for production deployment validation, performance, and disaster recovery
• Identify deficiencies and opportunities for improvement
• Implement upgrades and changes to address operational issues and new requirements
• Other related tasks as assigned

Requirements:

• 5+ years experience in testing, operations, development, or integration in network management environments
• 5+ years experience with Cisco switching and routing platforms
• Knowledge of IT Operations and Agile methodology
• Experience with service-oriented architectures and Cisco ASA/Firepower Technologies

Additional Requirements:

• Experience with Cisco NCS 5500, ServiceNow, and F5 Loadbalancers
