Job Description

Seeking a Senior Analyst to provide Pension Advisory and Governance Services for a nonprofit organization.  The successful candidate will provide pension advice to a board of trustees and committees, monitor compliance and regular review of policies, procedures and risk framework.

Our client would love to have someone hybrid, however, flexible to someone working fully remote.

Salary: $88,566 - $106,890

Duties:

  • Provide advice and recommendations to trustees and committees on pension issues
  • Draft briefing notes on advisory topics
  • On top of current regulations, regulatory guidelines, and best practices of pension governance
  • Monitor and maintain compliance and risk framework for pension plans
  • Coordinate, direct, review and provide feedback on meeting materials to support trustees and committee discussions and decisions

Requirements:

  • 3-4+ years of experience in pension governance
  • Ideally a University degree in Business, Finance, Governance, Policy, Administration, or Law
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Knowledge of Canadian Association of Pension Supervisory Authorities  (CAPSA)
  • Knowledge of pension regulations, governance, plan risks and operations
