Position: Data Engineer
Reporting to the Manager, Data Architect, the Data Engineer will play a crucial role in the Data Analytics team. You will be instrumental in building data pipelines, consolidating data for analytical purposes, and supporting business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and model data architectures including unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data within our Data Lakehouse.
  • Automate data extraction, loading, and transformation processes across various data sources and formats into standardized and reliable datasets.
  • Maintain and enhance existing data pipelines, data models, and platform architecture.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for data inquiries and issue assessments.

Qualifications:
  • A college or bachelor's degree in data/computer science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in data solutioning and large data set analysis.
  • Proficient in schema design and dimensional data modeling with minimal oversight.
  • Experience with Azure Synapse, Azure Databricks, and familiarity with Medallion Data Architecture.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; No-SQL knowledge is a plus.
  • Proficient with Business Intelligence tools such as PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Excellent communication skills to manage data warehouse plans with internal stakeholders
