Job Description
Our client working in the transportation industry is hiring for an Senior Administrative Assistant to join their team starting on a 6 month contract. This opportunity would be working in a hybrid model, 3 days onsite downtown Toronto.
The successful candidate will be supporting on administrative tasks for the CIO including scheduling meetings, preparing reports and managing correspondence.
Responsibilities:
- Manage CIO's schedule and meetings.
- Handling all email and phone correspondence
- Process and monitor deadlines for the CIO.
- Coordinate leadership and department meetings, and take minutes.
- Assist IT department employees with policies and procedures.
- Maintain follow-up systems for CIO's actions.
- Assist with special projects and presentations.
- Coordinate processing of Board Reports.
- Process CIO's payroll.
- Coordinate employee events and milestone celebrations.
- Support on a variety of administrative tasks for the CIO and the department.
Skills and Certifications:
- Experience working in a similar position.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organization skills.
- Proficiency in MS software
- Eagerness to learn in a new position.
