We are recruiting for Corporate Accountant to join a reputable company in the real estate development industry, based Etobicoke, ON. The company specializes in acquiring, developing, constructing, and operating various facilities, including real estate properties, among others. With a diverse portfolio and a growing corporate structure, we are seeking a dedicated Corporate Accountant to join their dynamic team on a long-term/permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the financial reporting process, including statutory and operational reporting.
• Assist in the consolidation and roll-up of financial statements for multiple entities across Ottawa and Toronto.
• Preparation of working papers for each entity and ensure accurate consolidation.
• Assist in enhancing and streamlining reporting processes to accommodate the company's rapid growth and increasing stakeholder interest.
• Handle a high volume of reports and financial data while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
• Support in analyzing property holdings totaling approximately $1.2 billion.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) with extensive experience in full-cycle working paper preparation.
• Proficiency in navigating complex corporate group entity structures and working with large private corporations.
• Strong understanding of financial statement preparation and consolidation processes.
• Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Comfortable with a hands-on approach and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Experience in the real estate or related industries is an asset.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
