Job Description
We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our client in the manufacturing industry!
This role is a 3 month contract with possibility of extension based out of Oakville.
Responsibilities:
- Complete financial planning and reporting activities to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- Perform detailed financial analysis including trends, financial structure, assets, cash flow, and liabilities to support decision-making.
- Analyze and monitor key performance indicators and business performance, preparing regular reports for management review.
- Participate in projects to develop financial and controlling standards and guidelines, contributing to process improvements.
- Carry out operational tasks and project work in the assigned expertise area as directed by superiors.
- Contribute to the development of concepts and standards in the expertise area based on operational experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- 5-8 years of experience as a financial analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong expertise in SAP, Excel, and Think Cell for financial analysis and reporting.
- Ability to maintain working relationships with external financial experts such as banks, tax counselors, and chartered accountants.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
