Job Title: Bilingual (French) Processing Clerk (Insurance Industry)

Location: On-site (100%) in Mississauga
Salary: $22.00 per hour

Position Overview:
As a Bilingual (French) Processing Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in our day-to-day operations by accurately processing insurance-related documents and providing support to their team. Fluency in both English and French is essential for this role, as you will be responsible for communicating with clients and stakeholders in both languages. Your meticulous attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment will be critical to your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process insurance documents accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Communicate with clients and stakeholders in both English and French to address inquiries and provide assistance.
  • Maintain organized records of processed documents and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
  • Assist with other administrative duties and special projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Fluency in both English and French (written and verbal) is mandatory.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in administration is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within the insurance sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Education and/or Experiences:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Language and Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills required, along with good customer service skills.
  • Must display excellent phone and email etiquette.

Professional Skills:

  • Must maintain strict confidence with regards to sensitive information.
  • Must be proactive, self-disciplined, and self-motivated.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed instructions.

Mathematical and Reasoning Skills:

  • Ability to understand and communicate basic math.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel required.

Work Environment:

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate in the administrative office.

Work Schedule:

  • Must be able to work flexible schedule based on business need.
