Job Description

 Seeking a Receptionist for our nonprofit sector client.  This is a great permanent position, ideally starting immediately.

Full time hours Monday to Friday (ONSITE). Slater Street

Salary: $48,490 - $55,270
Hours: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Duties:

  • Provide customer service support to internal and external clients
  • Perform administrative and support duties such as monitoring work queues, general e-mail boxes, web ‘contact us’ requests, preparing briefing notes, program reports, presentations, or other materials to communicate and/or share knowledge and expertise
  • General office duties such as photocopying, answering phones and preparing documents
  • Schedules and tracks outgoing FedEx/Purolator packages
  • Support with event-related inquiries from participants, vendors, sponsors, and internal teams.
  • Assist in the set-up and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all elements are in place according to the event plan.
  • Work with Finance to coordinate and track all purchase orders and payment requisitions to the final payment of all services and Materials.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in reception
  • Previous experience providing administrative support for events
  • Experience with budgeting would ideal
  • Previous experience with First Nations or Indigenous groups would be ideal
  • Any work experience in government would be great too
