Job Description

We are currently seeking a Technical Writer with experience in Adobe Framework, Adobe Illustrator, or Adobe Suite for our client in transportation within the Government Agency industry.

This is aone year contract opportunity with the chance of extension.

This is a fully on site role located Downtown Toronto with hours of work from 7AM-3:30PM.

Responsibilities:
-Creation and maintenance of departmental procedures, processes and policies.
-Update existing legacy documents to new RAMS templates.
-Adapt existing illustrations / sketches based on input from technical writers.
-Consult with content developers /technical writers and SMEs.
-Travel to various work locations.
-Soliciting feedback from end users on the illustrations.
-Convert legacy documents to existing RAMS templates.
-Create and write new procedures as required by management.
-Create various bulletins and notices i.e. technical or operational bulletin per RAMS standard.
-Update existing procedures and illustrations
-Liaison with internal and external SME as required for assigned procedures.
-Meet targeted deadlines for the procedures as required by management.

Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have experience using Adobe Suites, ie. Framework and/or Illustrator within a Technical Writing capacity
