Our esteemed client in the automotive consumer marketplaces and publications sector is URGENTLY seeking a Technical Recruiter to join their team. This is initially a contract position with the potential for permanency, presenting an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and innovative organization.
Location: Downtown Toronto OR Etobicoke.
Hybrid Role: 1-2 times in office.
Pay Rate: $35 per hour.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Supervise recruitment efforts in designated regions and client groups, focusing on professional and high-volume areas to attract skilled personnel.
- Enhance recruitment processes, aiding hiring managers and HR partners in candidate assessment and sourcing through strategic channels.
- Develop cost-effective solutions to meet staffing needs efficiently and innovatively.
- Ensure timely and quality recruitment while staying competitive in the market sector.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on best practices, including sourcing and interview techniques, and manage external recruitment vendors.
- Maintain and analyze the applicant tracking system, offering recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to HR projects and initiatives as directed.
Qualifications and Skills
- Degree or diploma in HR management with 8-10 years of corporate recruitment experience.
- CHRP designation preferred.
- Knowledge of HR legislations.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Business acumen and ability to build relationships.
- Experience in high-volume recruitment.
