Job Description
Our client in the transportation industry is hiring for a Statistics Clerk to join their team starting on a 6 month contract. This exciting opportunity will be working in a hybrid model two days onsite per week downtown Toronto.
The Statistics Clerk will be responsible for maintaining data quality within the internal database.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly data quality checks
- Identify and resolve data quality problems and maintain records while executing data clean up measures.
- Manually enter missing information in the system and liaise with departments to obtain missing information when required
- Complete assigned data quality checks and resolve issues promptly
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of data entry procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint, Access, and other database software
- Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of quality control practices
- Knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code and related orders (or willingness to learn)
- Secondary school graduation or equivalent, with relevant work experience
