Altis Recruitment is seeking a Job Description Writer for our client in the healthcare sector, on a 6-month contract. The Job Description Writer will be responsible for crafting clear, concise, and compelling job descriptions that accurately represent the requirements and responsibilities of various positions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing skills, a strong understanding of HR practices, and the ability to collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions that attract top talent.

Please Note: This role is onsite 3 days a week in downtown Toronto office.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers and HR professionals to understand the requirements of each position.
• Research and gather information about job roles, responsibilities, and qualifications.
• Write and edit job descriptions that accurately reflect the duties, qualifications, and expectations of each position.
• Ensure job descriptions are consistent with company branding and values.
• Utilize SEO techniques to optimize job descriptions for search engines and job boards.
• Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices in job description writing.
• Update and maintain existing job descriptions as needed.
• Provide guidance and support to hiring managers on job description best practices.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in writing job descriptions, preferably in a corporate or HR setting.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of HR practices and terminology.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and techniques.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
