Our client in the heavy machinery industry is seeking a dynamic Forklift Sales Associate to join their team.  They will play a crucial role in establishing and maintaining customer relationships, analyzing market trends, and contributing to the overall strategic direction of the company.

Location: Richmond Hill, ON - Montreal, QC – Vancouver, BC.  

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Proactively establish new customer relationships by strategically planning and organizing daily work schedules to engage with existing and potential clients.
• Provide regular reports and analyses to management, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
• Monitor the competitive landscape by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, and industry trends, and provide insightful feedback to management.
• Utilize in-depth product knowledge across various categories to effectively maximize sales opportunities.
• Cultivate sustainable relationships and foster trust with customer accounts through transparent and interactive communication.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills: 

• Preferably possess business acumen and industry knowledge.
• Forklift sales experience is a requirement.
• Familiarity with sales processes related to heavy equipment such as excavators, wheel loaders, and forklifts is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Highly self-motivated with a proactive and self-starting attitude.
• Demonstrated passion for exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service within a collaborative team environment.
