Job Description

Our client in the Healthcare Industry is currently seeking a Clinic Manager, to manage 5 clinics in Alberta on a full-time permanent basis. This role will be remote with the exception of onsite clinic visits in Edmonton, Calgary, and Fort McMurry. The successful candidate will be responsible for offering leadership and guidance to staff in a fast paced environment, and contribute to the overall growth and success of the clinics. 

Responsibilities: 

Leadership:
  • Lead the western clinics, collaborating with senior leadership to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Provide guidance to Clinic Supervisors and Team Leads for efficient daily operations.
  • Lead by example, offering hands-on support and mentorship to staff.
  • Ensure flexibility in working hours to support staff and projects.
  • Foster a culture of growth and development among team members.

Clinic Management:

  • Collaborate with supervisors to maintain efficient clinic operations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and certification requirements.
  • Manage clinic finances and oversee standard procedures.
  • Support clinic expansion and implementation of new services.
  • Coordinate with various departments for program development and client inquiries.

Operational Efficiency:

  • Implement system improvements to streamline department processes.
  • Maintain effective internal controls in compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct regular reviews for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Assist in administrative duties and system enhancements as needed.

Health and Safety:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety standards.
  • Identify and address training needs to ensure safe practices.
  • Enforce health and safety standards and promote awareness among staff.

Requirements: 
  • 3-5 years minimum working in Management roles in a Clinic or Healthcare environment. 
  • Team player and excellent leadership skills. 
  • Excellent written and oral communication. 
  • Availability to travel to different clinic locations in Edmonton, Calgary, and Fort McMurry when required. 
  • Completion of post-secondary education, nursing license is an asset.
