Job Description

Our non-profit client is seeking a permanent Grant Specialist to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience with managing the life cycle of new and existing grants across an organization, writing funding proposals in a clear and compelling manner, and  have strong research and writing skills.

This is a fully REMOTE position, that offers a competitive compensation package and opportunities for growth & development!

RESPONSIBILTIES: 
  • Prepare quality grant proposals in a timely manner, including developing budgets, timelines, and workplans, and other grant requirements.
  • Maintain a system to track projects and grant applications, including budgets and reporting requirements.
  • Identify grants and funding opportunities.
  • Prepare and submit formal reports to granting organizations.
  • Support leadership team to prepare materials for informal engagements with granting organizations.
  • Work with Communications team to develop funder engagement materials.
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a similar position.
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (Business, Humanities, Communications, etc.).
  • Proven track record of developing, implementing, and reporting on grant applications.
  • Experience working with budgets and managing project work plans.
