Job Description
Our Government client is seeking a Business Analyst for a 24-month contract with possible extension. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience working with analysis of an organization or business domain and documents, its business or processes or systems, assessing the business model or its integration with technology
Responsibilities:
Design and represent process requirements.
Execute unit testing and provide support for various testing phases.
Support post-implementation activities and end-user support.
Participate in solution scoping, planning, and design.
Provide integration requirements and master data inputs.
Review data definitions and ensure business requirements are met.
Collaborate with user communities and provide feedback to change management.
Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Commerce or an equivalent field
Minimum of five (5) years of experience working as a business analyst
Minimum of three (3) years of experience documenting/conducting process reengineering
Minimum of two (2) years of experience writing use cases
Must possess high level of communications, consulting, and client relationship skills.
Must be capable of effectively identifying and framing problems, leading the collection of elements of information, and integrating this information to produce timely and thoughtful decisions
It is preferred that the Resource has the following qualifications or experience:
Accreditation from Business Analyst professional association is considered an asset
Knowledge of the Business Analysis Book of Knowledge (BABOK) is considered an
asset
Experience working on SAP Projects
