Our healthcare and research client is currently seeking a Manager, Research Data and Standardization to join their growing team on a permanent basis! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Research Data Management and  Databank and Lifecycle oversight in increasing complexity and scope.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Manage a team of research data specialists to assist with the coordination organization and standardization of research data.
  • Coordinating and maintaining data modality and asset inventories.
  • Support the implementation of quality, meta-data, harmonization and pre-processing standards within and across research programs.
  • Alignment of data management activities across internal data service providers
  • Developing training and supporting materials for researchers
  • Managing stakeholders to ensure that there is agreement to scope, approach, deliverables and budget to achieve overall success of the project
QUALIFICATIONS: 
  • 5-8+ years demonstrated progressive and relevant experience in Research Data Management.
  • A Master’s Degree in a related field is an asset (Medical Informatics, Bioinformatics, Medical Sciences, etc.)
  • Demonstrated understanding of regulations, privacy legislation, and research governance of human participant research (ICH-GCP, TCPS2, Health Canada and FDA regulations)
  • Experience with research methodologies
