Our healthcare and research client is currently seeking a Manager, Research Data and Standardization to join their growing team on a permanent basis! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Research Data Management and Databank and Lifecycle oversight in increasing complexity and scope.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a team of research data specialists to assist with the coordination organization and standardization of research data.
- Coordinating and maintaining data modality and asset inventories.
- Support the implementation of quality, meta-data, harmonization and pre-processing standards within and across research programs.
- Alignment of data management activities across internal data service providers
- Developing training and supporting materials for researchers
- Managing stakeholders to ensure that there is agreement to scope, approach, deliverables and budget to achieve overall success of the project
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-8+ years demonstrated progressive and relevant experience in Research Data Management.
- A Masters Degree in a related field is an asset (Medical Informatics, Bioinformatics, Medical Sciences, etc.)
- Demonstrated understanding of regulations, privacy legislation, and research governance of human participant research (ICH-GCP, TCPS2, Health Canada and FDA regulations)
- Experience with research methodologies
