Job Description

The Digital Experience Site Merchandising Specialist is at the forefront of crafting and implementing exceptional site experiences for our audiences, including seasonal highlights, brand introductions, new programs, and strategic corporate initiatives. This role is pivotal in harnessing vision, in-depth research, meticulous planning, and strategic insight to generate customer-centric experiences. Collaboration is key, working closely with internal stakeholders such as merchandise teams, marketing personnel, strategic marketplace brands, and technology groups to bring these visions to life.

Success in this position is measured through a variety of site performance indicators that directly influence brand visibility, ease of site navigation, conversion rates, customer loyalty, and overall satisfaction.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Utilize diverse data sources, including web analytics, customer feedback, partner insights, and industry trends, to enhance customer satisfaction across various categories, seasonal promotions, new initiatives, and corporate programs.
  • Create engaging experiences aligned with corporate marketing and strategic brand objectives, ensuring our digital platforms consistently convey our key messages to customers across all digital ownership channels.
  • Guide and oversee the delivery teams on necessary components for experience realization, managing these components from conceptualization to live implementation.
  • Partner with technology teams to embrace automation, crafting personalized, data-driven site experiences aimed at fostering lasting customer loyalty.
  • Implement A/B testing methodologies to refine future site experiences and inform decisions with solid data backing.
  • Investigate, compile, and uphold best practices for digital and mobile interfaces across principal experiences.
  • Facilitate cohesive efforts through strategic collaboration with senior leaders in Merchandising, Marketing, and Technology departments.
  • Manage the deployment of content and promotions across platforms via various CMS tools, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.
  • Oversee CMS repository strategies, making content and resources readily accessible and easy to locate, thereby supporting smooth site operation and optimizing studio productivity.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Strong practical knowledge and deep understanding of web analytics and customer research methodologies.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to craft thorough solutions and thrive in a dynamic, agile work environment.
  • Communication: Proficient in persuading and presenting data and site experiences effectively.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in site merchandising and site deployment is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrable expertise in web analytics, customer research, and a solid track record of improving digital experiences.
