Our client working within the Non -Profit industry with a large focus on mental health is hiring for Business Development Advisor. This is an exciting full time, permanent position, working in a hybrid model out of Vancouver.
The successful candidate will be supporting on of the organizations newest programs by promoting and selling mental health training and safety services to new organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to individual and team sales targets through selling mental health training and related programs. Leverage experience and relationships and contacts relevant to the programs.
- Prospect new clients to fill the individual and team sales pipeline.
- Nurture current client relationships and up-sell clients on additional services.
- Facilitate the preparation and execution of training agreements with clients, ensuring an empathetic understanding of mental health.
- Maintain accurate data on all business development related activities in Salesforce.
- Identify, respond to, and track opportunities for involvement in conferences and events to promote the programs, showcasing an invested and knowledgeable attitude regarding mental health.
- Monitor the web to ensure the programs presence is appropriate and monitor the media to identify where there may be opportunities with a particular focus in Western Canada.
- Ensure accurate Salesforce database records are kept of new, ongoing, and closed opportunities for agency and community courses.
Qualifications:

Passionate about B2B sales and business development activities with companies of all sizes
- Highly organized, analytical, accurate and detail oriented
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external contacts
- Bachelors degree or diploma in health promotion, business administration, marketing, communications, or related discipline
- Minimum 2-5 years experience (health and/or education related preferred) in business development, B2B sales, health promotion, marketing, and client relations
- Experience in mental health, or related field is desirable
- Knowledge of Salesforce an asset
- Essential languages: English (oral and written).
