Job Description
Our healthcare client is currently seeking a Clinical Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience overseeing the daily operation of Counselling and Therapy services and providing leadership and direction on clinical services, strategies, planning, and service delivery across the program.
This is a hybrid position located in Aurora, with a competitive rate and opportunities for development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provides supervision to support the skill development of Child and Family Therapists and ensure quality therapeutic experiences for families.
- Ensures that service delivery complies with legislative and accreditation standards.
- Provides clinical leadership through maintaining knowledge of best practices and therapy models.
- Hires, trains, develops and manages Child and Family Therapists and Child and Youth Workers.
- Ensures that staff work in a safe manner in accordance with health and safety policies and procedures and all relevant legislation.
- Ensures that program assessment processes are followed to determine eligibility for counselling and intensive programs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3-5+ years of experience in a supervisory/management position.
- Masters degree in related field or equivalent experience will be considered.
- Experience using various clinical modalities and evidence-based/informed practices such as CBT, DBT, EFST, EFFT, SFBT and Single Session Therapy.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid drivers license and use of a vehicle.
- Membership in good standing with no restrictions to appropriate regulatory college (i.e. CRPO, OCSWSSWW).
