Job Description

Our client, a federal Crown corporation dedicated to enhancing rural Canada, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Manager to join their team in Regina, Saskatchewan. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a positive impact on rural communities and possess a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.

With responsibilities ranging from developing project management plans to leading teams and ensuring project deadlines are met, the chosen candidate will play a vital role in driving forward initiatives that support farming operations and rural businesses across Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee the execution of project management plans, including budget and risk assessment.
  • Direct projects by monitoring progress, identifying variances, and creating corrective actions.
  • Lead teams through projects by delegating tasks, coaching team members, motivating, and handling conflicts.
  • Bring projects to a formal conclusion and document lessons learned for future projects.
  • Set expectations, deadlines, and ensure they are met.
  • Mentor team members and collaborate with other project managers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or computer science.
  • At least eight years of experience, including a minimum of four years in a project management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing large projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership skills with the ability to help others grow.
  • Insight in stakeholder management.
  • PMP certification is an asset.

Work Arrangement:

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement with some days in office at the corporate headquarters in Regina and flexibility for remote work.
