We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual to join our client's growing Group Annuity Operations team. Reporting to the Director of Operations, this role offers the opportunity to support various aspects of annuity policy operations.

Our client operates on a hybrid work model with 4 days a week on site in downtown Toronto.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Assist with group annuity payroll activities.
• Reconcile monthly reports with membership data and payments.
• Maintain ongoing data changes received from internal and external stakeholders.
• Analyze monthly ad hoc reports.
• Assist team members with internal and external inquiries and key initiatives.
• Develop and maintain internal relationships.
• Contribute to the documentation of processes and procedures for the annuity operations team.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic knowledge of Excel (VBA) and Power Apps. Additional programming skills are a plus.
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time management skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Analytical thinking and detail-oriented approach.

Nice-to-Haves

• Educational background in actuarial science, mathematics, or computer science.
• Knowledge of Python.
• Experience with end-user reporting tools (e.g., Power BI).
• Familiarity with factors affecting annuities and reinsurance products.
• Knowledge of pension plans is a plus.
• Strong documentation skills.
